Re: FCC to investigate AT&T, Verizon for anti-competitive behavior
I saw the Congressional Hearings a short while ago.
They had the CEO's of both of these companies give testimony regarding this topic.
The 2 CEO's were so full of crap it would be laughable if the customers were not the ones being screwed.
The Congress did not buy their bs which is why the FCC is investigating them.
One of the topics of the hearings had to do with price fixing text messages, (which btw cost about one 1¢ and they charge 20¢), when one company set rates, the other followed.
The companies representatives said they were just being competitive. But there were memos and the testimony seemed to indicate otherwise.
The FCC seems to agree which is why they are investigating this issue.
