I had the same thing happen to me, that's why I know. I swear I asked for insurance and noticed 2 months in that there was no insurance on the phone, the CSR Supervisor finally agreed to let me add insurance but only if I took it to a repair center first and THEY called in to verify the phone was fine.

WHY would someone not take insurance for a $500 phone? Wow, now you're going to have to buy a new phone.
Thanks for the input. I've never had to add insurance on a phone as I've always had it.

That's pretty smart on Asurion's/Sprint's part for making you do that prior to allowing insurance to be added.
