Yeah, there is a 5GB cap. All cell companies are implementing this.

Many people have gone over this and have not seen charges. They are probably grandfathered in.

My AT&T data plan is unlimited and I recently activated a new one for a new employee at work and their plan is now 5GB and not unlimited.

I've gone over 5GB numerous times with AT&T and they have never charged me for overages.
