When I was running Android on my Vogue battery life was actually quite good. I think WinMo shuts down prior to booting into Linux, I could be wrong though... The only way to get back to WinMo was to restart the phone. Like I said, I'm not exactly sure how it worked but battery was great. I kind of miss that ability and wish I wouldn't have gotten rid of my Vogue, especially now that Hero is up and running on it as well.
