This might sound a little weird, but try putting the phone in your freezer without the battery for about 5 mins, and then try flashing it immediately afterwards.
Since the phone generates excessive heat, sometimes flashing or even installing programs can create issues. By cooling it down, you remove any electrical resistance, and thus most problems.
