Would someone running 8/11 Standard (afternoon version) be willing to check their backlight under Start>Backlight to see if it is doing what mine is -- I would really appreciate it.
I rarely use the backlight 'application' anymore, but I loaded it today and while it looked fine at 100%, at anything lower the 'segments' that display above the portion for the selected amount of backlight didn't look right -- in the example image below the backlight is set to 40% and you can see the 'remaining' six 'segments' are not displayed correctly.
I have already done a hard reset without any customization and nothing changed, so I am asking for someone else to check to try and determine more clearly if this is cooked-in. I also dug through the manila graphics, and all the regular ones, but I cannot find the relevant art. Anyone know which files this cooked-in executable (MyLight.exe) uses for graphics, or are they embedded in the executable?
