i unlocked a friend of mine's 2g iphone last week (he got the new 3gs) and the thing that astonished him was that a lot of the things that the iphone 3gS touted is on an unlocked iphone. So he felt he just wasted money uselessly on an apple device if the 2g can do everything the 3gS can do - but better due to the support of the internet communities...

its weird apple...trying to scare customers...and they talk about microsoft?!
microsoft hasn't done thing to my knowledge (even with its WGA)

remember the vista fiasco with the OEM hacking and VLK license distribution? Microsoft kept it under wraps for the most part actually...and yet I wonder...
status symbol? freedom to do whatever you want yea right apple...
