When I flash a custom ROM, if it isn't a VZ ROM I install the Arcsoft that Mighty has posted (5.0.69.44) after the flash (I use a Sprint TP on Verizon).

I have never once dialed *228 after probably 50 flashes & my MMS & data always works just fine.....
