In my experience there is very little battery draw from leaving bluetooth active. The big battery hit comes from talking on the phone using bluetooth. I have noticed a difference in battery life on days when I use my bluetooth headset and talk on the phone a lot. Also I have noticed that some times the bluetooth will go in and out of connection, this will cause the 700wx to turn on so make sure you have the battery off time set to its lowest amount of time this will help. All of this is based on my personal experience with my bluetooth. I hope this helps
