Went through the QPST procedure and changed all the onegps settings to the Telus ones as per this thread:

Also played with the SUPL AGPS registry settings... I think I ended up using value 1 for GPS mode.
Now I get a lock within seconds even when inside my house and away from any windows.
Running Garmin XT loaded up with full 2010.1 Ontario maps.. i'm amazed at how little space they're taking up on the internal card
