If you know the registry key I would be happy to look at mine and relay the info.

I am having the same issue. I run the WiFi Internet sharing and I am able to connect to the phone from my laptop as a peer-to-peer network and not as an access point. I am unable to access the Internet at all. I also only get an ip address of 169.x.x.x which is the windows default.
I am able to install WiFi Router as a demo and it works just fine. Does anyone know what I am doing wrong? Every post seems to say all you have to do is run WiFi Sharing, follow the directions and it just works. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
