So, in this new apt my girl and I moved into... We found out that Comcast is not allowed due to a contract the landlord has with another provider for media access (deemed illegal in 2007 by the FCC).
Long story short, I refuse to get internet from DirecTV (satellite, offers a WHOPPING 1.5Mega
BIT connection for $80/month... I get about the same from my TP.... Though i should be getting 2.5 on it anyways...
The only internet access I have, as I'm sure plenty other users here, have... Is my TP...
And when I download from RS (which does not allow resume downloading) the smallest connection interruption kills the download... And DDTM is not an option for me seeing as how I make and receive a plethora of business calls throughout the day...
I was gonna post this in the Upgrade forum instead but I know that someone is gonna female dog me about how its not a direct upgrade...
