it gives you the option when you first start your phone from a new flash (rarley) and always from stock. flash any custom rom. or hard reset your phone, (prep device for first time, tap screen to set up, align screen, stylus setting (skip or next) password (skip or next) choose skip and don't use a password. Custom roms don't have this feature and it really is of no use. if you use flexillis antivirus program it will kill your phone remotely if it is lost or stolen. just shut off data protection cause it will kill your data connection.
