J.eremy - Your post about why to do the hard resets was very informative. Thanks. I personally haven't been flashing to stock each time and haven't had many problems. Maybe lucky; who knows. To each his own.

I just didn't get as technical as a few others as to why it is a good idea to flash to stock before a new custom rom.
Just because a custom rom doesn't show any problems before an update that doesn't mean that an update won't have an issue with something that the hard reset and flash didn't over write.
A stock flash will write all stock files to the correct address in the memory over writing anything that a custom rom left behind. In theory. LOL

Anyway, it works.
