Just read it. Good stuff and the analogies kept it layman. I also started flashing to stock and then hard resetting after every flash as well just to be sure I am not taking anything with me from previous flashes but always wondered at the reasons behind why it is recommended. Your explanation doesn't explain why people recommend that you hard reset TWICE though.. although I often do that anyways.
