Have you tested this recently? Our audio decoders have always been as fast as anything that's out there, and our video decoders have gotten quite a bit faster since we launched a year ago.

Kinoma Play has always had the same (sometimes slightly better) performance as WMP for Windows Media playback performance, since both players are using the same API and decoders.
