Anyone know the problem or how to fix it?
Thanks
I know the feeling. Here is what I did after gobbs and gobbs of attempts to use posted fixes that didn't seem to work...
  1. Flashed Rom (Mine is EnergyROM Aurora (23016) Built Aug 1
  2. Loaded DCD provider files .cab (Sprint CDMA)
  3. Loaded MS Daylight Savings Time .cab (yes I realize it is out of date- go figure :-0)KB949168
  4. Set the Time Zone and Time in the "Settings - Clock and Alarms -Time"
  5. Opened the Weather Tab and set my city (Good JuJu measure)
  6. Opened the Contacts - Menu - Options and entered my area code as per suggestion from a person friend who is a Sprint tech.
  7. Clicked on the Home Page clock and set my city up.
  8. Removed the Time Zone entry and any other cities.
  9. Soft booted.
I hate workarounds since I think things should work correctly and I have a hard time waking up, so I was looking for a fix and this seems to be working for me. Hope this helps !
