This has happened to several of us, not just with Ad's rom either. here is what you do. go to usb connections and change it to mass storage mode, and select "My Storage". Hook up your phone to your comp using a usb cable, and copy all the contents of your My storage to your computer. Then use your computer to format the My Storage drive. Once you do that, copy back everything that you backed up back onto My Storage. That should fix the icon problem.
