Word of advice, if you push gently and the phone doesn't soft reset, you probably have it in the wrong hole. Why would you stick your stylus in a hole on your phone and push so hard that it can actually damage it? Do you usually have to push the reset button that hard? I just don't see how you could damage your phone trying to soft reset. Don't get me wrong, I've stuck the stylus in just about every place but the soft reset button when I was trying to soft reset in the dark, but I never damaged the phone. As soon as I pushed a little and it didn't reset, I knew it wasn't in the right spot. Kinda like the same thing when you push a little bit and your girlfriend screams and punches you in the face, you know it isn't in the right spot.
