60 days to take effect is SOP when you get a corporate discount.
One of the reasons is because your billing cycle changes according to what the cycle is of the corporation you're getting the discount from.
ie:
Your bill has always been generated on the 5th of each month.
But since you will be getting a xxxxx corporate discount, your billing cycle will now start on the 15th of each month.

That is the reason for the 60 days necessary to take effect.
