Thanks guys I stand corrected. I have noticed some lag while setting up the align screen and have found that flashing to stock and back to the ROM corrected the problem. Of course all of that may just be a placebo effect.

I have noticed that removing the battery after a flash and performing a hard reset using vol down/dpad center/power seems to work effectively but again it may be another placebo effect.

I'll try to avoid suggesting flashing to stock to others in the future.
