Sense you live in the area I can shortcut this a little. As you may know there is not much radio south of Dunsmier, so I stream audio into my stereo using Mundu or Wunder radio (both good programs). With the stock radio I did not have enough signal to keep a steady flow south of Castello.
The telus was a vast improvement with only 2 drops in the worst spots and that was only for a few seconds.
As far as the stats go, I tested in Ashland, Castello (the worst dead spot on I-5), and Redding. I set it up so I will be able to test other radios in the exact same spots.
Here are the specs (Rx Powe/Rx Ec-Io):
Ashland -73/11-14
Castello -92/21-24
Redding -51/11-13
Tommorrow I will be testing the verizion radio and will link to this post to let you know how it goes.
I drive 4 days a week so it will take a couple of weeks to go through all the radios.
I am also monitoring battery life with each radio and will post those finding when I have completed testing all the radios.
I did not get the stats off of the stock radio but I can assure you telus does a better job, at least on I-5 were I drive.
Hope this helps

Thank you for your time and work!!!
It is the most importan information because some times we can't see any bar in the icon and it is not so important.

Castello -92/21-24

The bars are not nearly accurate enough to make conclusions about signal quality.
Here is another twist, on my Diamond, in a relatively weak DO area but connected to an Airave (1x), the bars display the state of DO (therefore, few bars even though I'm connected to Airave with good 1x service. On my Touch Pro, on the other hand, the bars display the state of 1x (again, connected to Airave) even though the indicator shows "EV". That is to say, even though DO is weak and 1x is strong, the TP will show you "EV" while the bars are actually showing 1x signal strength.
In simple terms, two phones, side-by-side, same coverage quality, one has many bars, the other nearly none.
In other words, the Diamond and Touch Pro shows you signal quality on the bars differently. Got that? Remember, there are both 1x and DO portions of the radio at play.
Have a good trip
