HKLM\Software\HTC\PHONE\FaceDownMuteRing - Hit the plus sign next to each one of these steps - I use the built in registry editor to do this
If you make it down to PHONE - you have to actually tap the word PHONE and wait a second or two for the entrys to load up in the lower window. You then double tap facedownmutering and change the value data to 0. Hope that helps. If not let me know where your stuck.
