One thing you should know though...I got my 6700 off of Ebay. I already had Verizon service anyway. I was going to do the same thing as you and just use the wi-fi. When I got them to activate the 6700, they automatically change your plan to one with data on it. I don't think that it is the Verizon rep that changes it because it was a friend of mines that works there, but I think once they put it into the system as a 6700, it changes your plan automatically. I had got my next month bill and the price was different cause they changed my plan and did not tell me. But it was an easy fix though. I just told them I did not want data on the phone and they changed it back. Be careful about this!
