So there may be no other way for you since beginner. Use the same kitchen ( OpalChef ) until you get expert about how the rom is cooked and then after you can create your own kitchen using platform rebuilder which you can get
here.
As of non auto... generate xip.bin kitchen, I'm low in it but I hope, others may help you to create a prefect rom.
