so there i have the tf3d and the TODAY TIMEOUT...
when disabled the tf3d, reset, it still goes back..

1 thing i have noticed totally on accident deck is this,, i like to put my phone on vibrate when i sleep(anyone calls me at 7 or 8 am i dont hear)
now, when reset on those, i goes back to VIBRATE. so i decided to experiment a little.
let me put it like this for you.. (first off, setting is ALWAYS SET to ring and vibrate as soon as the phone is turned on) now:
if the ringer volume is on (no matter how loud)
once reset it goes back to ring. (so from ring and vib, it goes to ring)
if the ringer volume is set to vibrate
once reset is goes back to ONLY VIBRATE (so it stays good)
if the ringer volume is set to silent
once reset it goes to NONE (so it stays good)
HERE IS THE INTERESTING PART:
i set it to RING AND VIBRATE, then i used the volume up/down buttons to set it to VIBRATE(or silent doesnt matter), and i checked the setting, it was on VIBRATE(or none if silent)
without restarting i used the up/down buttons to put the volume back up again, checked the settings and it was back on RING instead of RING AND VIBRATE...
so maybe it might be bad link between the volume controller and the settings, not sure how all this works.
