My BT was on all night after making the registry changes. For the most part, I'm used to turning off BT when I know I won't be using it, so I don't think I will notice much difference in battery.
This may have already been mentioned, but I did find that when the D-pad quits, I can turn the power off and then back on and the D-pad works again. That would suggest that is somehow power related as freeza mentioned.
