I don't know if that shiny new phone is all that entices customers. Maybe it is.
I have the Diamond with a great plan and would not go anywhere else but us Diamond customers I know are in the minority.

SHINY > all..you gotta understand my friend didn't want to take ANY of the sprint phones temporarily aka 5 days till replacement came in..How many would want to be stuck 1-2 years with phones like that?
But let me put it in terms most of us here would understand..How many of us would pay $100 extra for a phone just cause it has more cool features! Even though those features we probably may not even use..but just the "concept" of having those features. Same thing, most people in America buy on impulse, and chances are they'd go for the shiny...personally, when I was in a sprint store, I was more fond of the Samsung TV hanging(that was advertising the pre) rather then the Pre itself..lol
Personally I even gotten sprint originally because of the PPC6700, at the point I didn't even know what was better or worse..I heard sprint CS was bad...butt then again the Phone to me meant more at the time.
