Ok nevermind, that didn't fix the d-pad problem, it was working fine for a while so i figured it worked but it started messing up not too long after.

The D-Pad problem seems to be power related, because when the phone draws more power, i.e. in a call, the d-pad works, but when it is almost in an idle state, the d-pad starts to act up again.
