You can try to unzip these and drop them into the windows folder. You will need resco explorer or total commander to overwrite files as needed. If you are cooking them in to a rom via a kitchen they go into the Base_DPI_192 folder. Overwrite any duplicates.

What do you mean by simpler? Can you use a kitchen?
