Could you please specift what ROMs you are using in which the game(s) won't run on, and what build they are (WM6.1/6.5 and 2XXXX <--build)
Perhaps you need the ATI D3D Drivers from the Diamond?
Or the OpenGL drivers?
Or GFX Boost?

Install all and then soft reset... Then, click Start>Settings>GFX Boost and make sure it is enabled...
NOTE: GFX Boost will
not appear in your settings until you reset...
