This is how I do it. It might take you 15-20 minutes to set this up. But, its well worth it. I have a folder created on my computer called Shared. I have an FTP server running on my computer that I created using Filezilla and I share the "Shared" folder with a username and password. On my Touch Pro, I have Resco Explorer installed with the ftp plugin and have saved the settings to connect to my computer.

Now, anytime I need to transfer a file, I just drop the file to the Shared folder on my computer and voila... I see it on my phone.
