But yes, the Heat is MUCH higher! just on the 25min phone call it is amazing. I have a phone service that I get 3000mins. I usually just plug it in to my laptop and it will charge while talking on it, now it will not.

I backed up my PIM of contacts and calender, unlocked the phone, loaded 6.5, hard reset (using the phone icon 'clear storage', the hold vol down and center button didn't work), restore the PIM information and soft restart.
I just now tested out the charging while talking deal, and you're right, it doesn't. I have never noticed it, because if I'm on the phone for more than 2 minutes, I pace all over the house... so charging isn't an option.

In fact, thinking about it, I've NEVER checked to see if my TP charges while I'm on a phone call, but I can verify that it doesn't on the newest MR6 build.

EDIT: Just tried again, after letting the phone cool down and charged from the outlet instead of USB... it seemed to work. Must be a heat issue that's causing the battery not to charge during prolonged use. Have you tried any of the other TP radios?
