It seems like the 6.5 rom is chewing my battery like CRAZY! I made a 25min call in the morning, used the calender a few times and by lunch time, 50% gone. sent 10 text messages and took one photo, at 5pm the battery is dead.

Is this normal? I have the phone on and data on. that is it. no blue tooth or anything.

2nd issue, I can not charge the stupid phone while talking on it...
I have found that all 6.5 ROMs seem to chew up the battery noticeably faster than 6.1 ROMs. However, of the ones I've tried, this one lasts quite a bit longer than most. Yours seems to be going faster than it should though, did you hard reset after flashing?

Even with the hard reset after flashing, I find it beneficial to flash to stock occasionally after I've flashed several custom ROMs. One difference that I've definitely noticed between 6.5 and 6.1 is the amount of heat generated while tethering is much greater using 6.5 ROMs.
