Re: Nice hack to increase signal strength

Defaults:
Code:

NV_C0_BC0_VGA_GAIN_OFFSET_1 Default: 2272
NV_C1_BC0_VGA_GAIN_OFFSET_1 Default: 2947

Altered Values
Code:

NV_C0_BC0_VGA_GAIN_OFFSET_1 Default: 1772
NV_C1_BC0_VGA_GAIN_OFFSET_1 Default: 1847

Pretty basic, I copied the values used from dcperdue's experience.

Subtract 500 from NV_C0_BC0_VGA_GAIN_OFFSET_1 and
Subtract 1100 from NV_C1_BC0_VGA_GAIN_OFFSET_1.

Following in krohnjw's footsteps I followed his experiment and did the same. I have a cradle for my Touch Pro which is stationary on my desk. I did two experiments on mine. I checked right after I changed the values and then once again from a cold boot.

Original Signal:
-93 - -96dbm

After Reset:
-94 - 97dbm

After Altercations:

Before Reset:
-92 - 96dbm

After Reset:
-92 - 96dbm

Not a huge increase, I will continue to tweak these settings and report back! Hope more try this out.
