This thread has been extremely helpful understanding the memory structure of the 6700. I just recently purchased a used 6700 and had questions about cooking a custom ROM. I have read many of the threads and dowloand the most recent kitchen. I successfully created a ROM using the createos program, but I had concerns of the amount of space the resulting "temp" file consumed on the PC.

My question is: can you select too many programs from the kitchen and created a ROM that is too large to install on the 6700. Currently I have no SD card so I am limited to onboard space right now.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Also if anyone knows, will I need to re-activate (as in call Sprint back) once I install the new ROM. It currently has the manufacturer ROM installed.

thanks,

Digida
