I'm using 3.0.12 and its working good.
As far as the style goes, I'm going to keep 2 updated, but it'll take some time.
The default one will be the ones with the tabs at the top. Eventually we will get the phones added up there and have a custom header.
The Marvel style (the old one) has also been updated to the new version of
vB, but I have to redo most of the hacks in that style too.
For now, if you want the old style, use the PPCG-Old Default style and most basic features will work, but some won't...until I get them updated.
