good to know,,, however, me being the guy whos atually afraid of the law and fraud and all that stuff, i read, and i asked customer service about the battery when i activated my new one.. on the envelope all there was was the return add for sprint in KT, nothing else, in the box with the tp was a paper CLEARLY STATING and i quote for this one "REMINDER: PLEASE KEEP YOUR ORIGINAL BATTERY AND CHARGER, UNLESS WE HAVE SUPPLIED A REPLACEMENT, IF A REPLACEMENT IS SUPPLIED AND THE OLD BATTERY AND/OR CHARGER IS NOT RETURNED, WILL RESULT IN A NON-REFUNDABLE CHARGE TO YOUR SPRINT ACCOUNT"
so i sent mine back, anyone else is free to do as they wish, im broke enough as it is, i dont need the chance of having more unneeded bills.
