Yes, that is a misconception that the old touch pro has a newer CPU. The video above, the person only gave out public specs and has no knowledge of the details. The reason why it has a newer ID is because it was a gimp CPU made around the Broadcom patent. Its newer but not better..that is why the difference is only a 1...

The older one is suppose to have better video playback. Which makes sense considering the large screen

Also I heard the TP2 fixes the overheating issue...

It still doesn't do the dishes though :/
