who cares if you void the warranty, the MFG warranty involves HTC, not your carrier.. besides TEP covers anything.. so as long as your not trying to send it in to HTC, your fine.... everyones too jumpy over that... worse that can happen is you get stuck with the full deductable..

if your device is broke, its broke, with TEP it doesnt matter how it got broke or whether its your own fault or not.. TEP covers anything and everything...

...i called up sprint one time and asked if i flashed a new radio, would i void my warranty.. made him ask his Super even... They both agreed it would void the MFG warranty but TEP guards against anything accidental so it wouldnt be an issue at all as far as the carrier is concerned..
