I'm doing a WM5/6 power usage study with two 6700's. WM6 does seem to consume more power, probably because there's more processor usage. I havent set up an ammeter to exactly measure the current draw but I'm seeing a definite difference in the first day. I'd guess it's between 10/15% more battery drain with WM6 just idling. Before ya post, I am doing this with a battery swap between devices with a known good, fully charged by the cradle battery to eliminate the device, each using the same power source for an average day. WM6 is a hungry little beast, by all early reports. It makes perfect sense in all of the Mogul battery drain posts all over here, there and everywhere.

On the software side I am comparing a 3.5 Helmi kitchen build versus Helmi/Verizonguy's latest kitchen.

Or, plan on charging your phone more with WM6.
