I did cmylxgo's pimp package and it clearly includes his boot up fix because it got rid of the windows startup sound and replaced it with the new sound and logo. Although it gets cut off by the old energyrom startup sound. But it does totally eliminate the crackly windows one. Overall I don't care though because I rarely reset my phone.
For anyone who forgot, the reg fix for hardware key vibrate is
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\oem\KeyState]
"KeyVibratorState"=dword:00000000
