I can assure you that your phone is not bricked. I had the same issue happen when I tried flashing in Vista one time. The main thing you are going to need here is a Windows XP machine. Once you have access to one, plug your phone in and run the official VZW Rom, it should boot afterwards. If it doesn't go here:
http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=7049 and grab the uni_exitbootloader file. Unzip it, then disable activesync usb connections, and run uni_exitbootload.exe for whatever in the file you just downloaded. That will get it to boot.
