I for one think the iPhone is an awesome device and perhaps someday I will own one. For now, I like the freedom that WinMo offers and look forward to the new UI that will be in WM7. To say that the iPhone isn't a good product is nonsense, it wouldn't have sold so much if it was so bad. But, to say that advertising and marketing hasn't had a great deal to do with it is also nonsense. Apple managed to convince the world that the iPhone was not only the first touch screen device, but also the first to offer teathering, turn by turn directions, you tube capabilities, MusicID, and the list goes on. They did a fantastic job marketing a good device with a nice UI and no new features, period.
