Well, since you chose to bring this into the open now, I guess I will share my response to your PM that you have now posted to make yourself a martyr. This has nothing to do with wanting to help people. Everyone here has put in more hours than you know helping people with these phones. Hell, it took several days and almost bricking two phones to get this fix. But you didn't think about that did you. The problem I had was solely with the way you offended me and naigaman (and probably others) by coming to ask for help and then renaming it and placing it on another site as if you created it. I sasy this because there is no mention there of where you got it, who was nice enough to take time out of their day to help you with it, or even why you feel the fix is even necessary. As you will read, I think your misconceptions of what the bootloader does and why someone should revert to an older bootloader are way off. There really is no need to revert the bootloader now that people can make their own roms. Here is a hint: make them a bit smaller and use the new RUU. With that, here is my response....

Sadly I am going to respond to you with three simple questions to show you how little you know.
1. Where do you think the 2.02 bootloader came from? Perhaps, if you had done your research you would find that it was never released like these newer ones are. In fact, it was an effort of luv2chill, naigaman, and helmi to get the bootloader dumped from an older upgrade and then edited to where it could be flashed to revert the bootloader. Apparently you did not know that the Bell rom upgrade caused this issue first and that is where this fix originated.
2. Why do you think we ask people to come into the chatroom? Apparently you think it is some ego thing. However it is because this process can cause some serious side effects including the possibility of bricking the phone. If you follow HTC phones at all you will know how dangerous it can be to mess with the bootloader. Then again, perhaps you don't know that. Regardless, it was decided that it was probably the safest thing to have the people come in so we could walk them through it instead of just posting a simple thread of instructions in a thread and leaving people on their own.
3. What do you think the problem really is with the new bootloader? You act like it is a huge deal that people have it. Um, Verizon/Bell wants them to have it. Do you even know what it does to have one of the bootloaders or the other? You acted like it was life or death and that the phone was ruined. Sadly, all it means is that you have to use a different RUU to update and that the roms have to be slightly smaller because of a new rom partition. Bonus points if you can tell me the up side of this....
Now, with that said, I will let you return to your "development". However, perhaps you could just ask some questions and maybe get permission before claiming someone else's work as your own. Noone would care if you wanted to help people, but I wondered why you had to post it on your site where you make no mention of where you got it or ppcgeeks.
