I believe that it's only VZW customers that have this issue. However, you can see your bootloader ID by putting your phone into bootloader mode. The version # should be barely visible at the bottom of the screen. Mine is 1.02.
To put it in bootloader, press the power and record buttons while pushing reset with the stylus. After you've checked the bootloader ID, just reset with the stylus again to boot normally.
