with the Alltel phone there is a Hybrid PRL that you can be put on. Since you are already converted with Verizon they would be able to add your phones to that list. There isnt really anything that the customers need to do. It takes 24-48 Hours to automatically push into the phone. What it does is makes sure that your phone is recongnizing both the Alltel and Verizon towers. Right now its not recognizing one or the other. Once its in the system for the Hybrid then you dont want to do the *228 update because it will take it off the Hybrid list. The store wont be able to do anything by reprogamming. As far as adversly effecting your phone.. it doenst effect anything but making use you have full use of both companies towers. It is a good thing to have until the conversion is complete in your area.
