Sorry cant help you more
Awitt is talking about the lower right "Menu" soft key on the music tab in TF3D. I don't know if that ever worked in any of the Rhodium manila VGA ports.

Not having that problem. Was the little white circle spinning in the upper left corner of the Music tab when you noticed the stop? The Music tab has to finish indexing your music files before it performs well. If that was not the issue, you can check out this thread. Tons of suggestions there. Here's the one that worked for me when I had problems with music skipping even after the Music tab had indexed my music files. But the Music tab has to reindex after each soft reset and won't start the process till you open the Music tab after a soft reset. So if you soft reset, jump to Music and immediately start trying to play music it may be sluggish. I usually open the music tab after a soft reset and wait a minute before playing music.
