Re: |HERM|ROM|6.5|WWE| ** EnergyROM 'Mercury' (21921) ** || Built July 14th ||

t0mmyr:

[on 7-8 build] I've run into the reminders not popping up issue. I still get an event notification icon in the taskbar, so it's not like I'm not being alerted of my events. It will still sound of an alert and the light flashes...it just doesn't seem to want to "display the pop-up".

I didn't experience the second issue you mentioned.

The G-Alarm problem you brought up sounds like a problem in G-Alarm. Did you set your alarm wav file in G-Alarm and delete the default one? When I set up G-Alarm I typically delete the file that's configured by default, and then I add in my sound. Doesn't seem ROM related at all.

Assuming you installed all of the proper fixes: Go to the People Tab in TouchFlo, hit "All People". There should be a new tab there called "Events and Updates". This is where you can set up the sync relationship between your contacts and Facebook friends.

If you open the old picture album [again, assuming you did the facebook upload fixes] and select a picture, "Upload to Facebook" should be one of the menu options.

1)Whenever I plug the phone in via USB, the data connection turns off and can not be turned back on until the phone is unplugged.
This setting, I believe can be toggled in ActiveSync. File - Connection Settings -Check "allow wireless connection on devcie when connected to the desktop".

YOUTUBE: I still have on and off issues getting the app to work. If you NEED YouTube...use the main site to view your videos, instead of the app and it should work. Typically, if I get the "cant play this video" error, a soft reset clears things up for a bit.

So far the only issue I have come across is using Weather Master 2.2 to add a custom city. After adding the city, when I go to the weather tab it restarts tf3d2. I have searched and found others are also having this issue. One solution is to overwrite the manilla files. I chose to remove the weather tab since I do not know if the manilla files in the zip file (http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...480101&page=24 )
(post #236) provided are compatible with this ROM. My TP is running so good on this ROM, I rather be without the weather tab then risk starting all over.
Dude, did you disable TouchFlo when you installed/ran the Weather Master cab?

I ran the sprint cab first and it loaded to the screen wanting me to pay, which I have never had to do before, plus I have the unlimited data plan.

I then ran the TeleNav cab and it would not go past the screen saying "telenav top L corner. Sprint Navigation v2.1 and the warning do not input data while driving" it will not proceed past this screen no matter how long I wait.
If you look in my sig, there are links to a couple of documents that...um, document my configuration setting up NRGs ROM on my device. I have Sprint Nav working perfectly. Check it out. You shoudl only need to install the single cab that I have linked in the guide.

CLOCK ISSUES: "Flip Clock" [the animation] doesn't seem to work with a modded home screen...which this ROM has. Something about the mod breaks the flipping animation. I ran into this sometime ago when installing a cab to move my alarm and date above the clock to get a similar effect to what we have now.

Also, if you can't figure out the clock "roll back" thing - I have some expanded instructions for getting it to work in my little walk through guide [in my sig]. Check it out.

I still don't know what you dudes are doing to rock your batteries like you're describing. Performance vs. battery - something's gotta give.

[sorry for the long post, just hoping to help fellow noobies]
