Re: U.S. cellular a few questions please

US Cellulars phone is identical to everyone except Verizons, so if it says the rom is multi-carrier, it should work. Something to remember, most custom roms don't include the mms app, to be more compatible I believe, but USCC does support MMS, so you will need to find an app in order to be able to send/recv picture messages.

I use one called amms.cab, it was sent to me by a friend, so not sure where it can be downloaded, but I'm sure with some searching it can be found.

Other than that, pretty much all multi-carrier CDMA roms should work.

I have tried MightyMikes, SSS, and DCD's, each has their goods and bads, I really like the stability of DCD's, but no Manila is a bummer, the rest have both Manila and Titanium. I don't like the Titanium interface as it has no launch app bar, and I really HATE the 6.5 start menu. If anyone knows a way to use the old startmenu with 6.5, I might be more willing to live with 6.5's issues.

I think SSS's looked the best, but is really "Sprint" optimized, my phone kept showing Spring everywhere, even tho I was still on US Cell's towers. But I will probably end up going back to this rom.

Update
Actually I just had to go into Connections and rename the connection to US Cellular and I no longer see Sprint anywhere.
